Donald Trump spent more than 20 years in the Atlantic City casino business, employing several thousand local residents and millions that are generating tax income for the state. Dating right back to the early 1980s when he first entered the resort industry, Trump operated and owned three casinos on the Boardwalk in what was then considered the gambling mecca regarding the East Coast.
