George Coetzee plays from water bare-footed at Open de France

Despite making among the most improbable birdies of the season during the last round, george Coetzee fell short in his name challenge at the Open de France.
Coetzee allow a edge slip at Le Golf National over the final six holes to finish the week in third place, having left a charge up the leaderboard in unlikely fashion at the ninth.
The Southern Africans tee shot finished left of the fairway and only inches leaving Coetzee needing to remove shoes and his socks to wade into the water to perform his next chance.
Coetzee was surprisingly able to get a stance in the water to make a connection and send the ball up the fairway, but missed the green to depart himself facing a hard up and down to save par.
Even the four-time European Tour winner had other ideas however, chipping into the first of three birdies to place stress.
