In changing weather conditions italy began their World Cup Pool B campaign with a victory over Namibia.
Before the Azzurri drew level with a penalty 19, the Namibian part-timers took an early lead throughout Damian Stevens.
Italy took control from Tommaso Allan along with Tito Tebaldi with tries.

“The main thing was to win and accept the five points,” Parisse stated.
“Big congratulations to Namibia also since they gave up. They kept playing to the end.”
The only negative for the Azzurri was Tiziano Pasquiale was stretchered off before the break.
Play was paused for what appeared to be a throat injury while the prop received attention.
Italy are next in action against Canada on Thursday, 26 September (08:45 BST), whereas Namibia face neighbours South Africa on Saturday, 28 September (10:45).
Defending champions New Zealand, who beat South Africa on Saturday, would be the other team from the group.
