In changing weather conditions italy started their World Cup Pool B campaign with a victory over Namibia.
Prior to the Azzurri drew level the took an early lead.
Italy took charge from Tommaso Allan and Tito Tebaldi with tries.
Edoardo Padovani Jake Polledri, Matteo Minozzi scored after the break, while JC Greyling and Chad Plato scored consolations for Namibia.

Italy are next in action against Canada on Thursday, 26 September (08:45 BST), although Namibia confront neighbors South Africa on Saturday, 28 September (10:45).
Defending champions New Zealand, who beat against South Africa on Saturday, would be the other team in the category.
